I love listening to people, hearing their stories, and learning what makes them who they are. I am honored when clients invite me into their lives to walk alongside them through difficult times. It is a joy to help individuals and families come to greater self-awareness, heal from wounds, and find a path forward.
I am a Marriage and Family intern here at Restoring Connections Counseling. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and am working through the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Fuller Theological Seminary. My husband and I have been married for over 20 years and are raising our five children, three of which are now teenagers. Marriage and family can be tremendous blessings, yet there are times when they can be the context for our deepest hurts and longings. I believe in the power of the Spirit and in the creative potential in every person to bring about transformation in the self and in relationships.
In counseling, I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to be heard and understood. I want to bring a collaborative spirit to the therapy room, one in which I work together with my clients to identify and bring about the change they desire. As we journey together, I hope to carry with me the compassion and kindness of Christ. The road isn’t easy, but no one needs to walk it alone.
